Efforts to Remove Hagenbuch From Ballot Fail Again

Brent Hagenbuch is the conservative Republican candidate for Texas Senate District 30, the seat being left vacant by the announced retirement of Senator Drew Springer. His campaign released the following statement today:

“Just like Donald Trump, Brent Hagenbuch’s opponents know they can’t beat him at the ballot box, so they seek to deny the voters the chance to vote for him.

“Opposition lawyers seemed dazed and confused, asking for extra time to prepare, as Hagenbuch’s counsel asserted his right to appear on the ballot and carefully explained the law.

“Brent Hagenbuch is a resident of Senate District 30 and is eligible to run. He has earned the endorsements of Governor Abbott, Lt. Governor Patrick, and local elected officials around the district. His campaign continues to attract tremendous support and great interest with voters,” said Allen Blakemore, spokesman for the Hagenbuch campaign.

DENTON TX – Brent Hagenbuch, conservative Republican candidate for Texas Senate District 30, the seat being left vacant by the announced retirement of Senator Drew Springer, released the following statement:

“Public safety is government’s first responsibility. Nothing else really matters if citizens do not feel safe in their homes or as they move about in their community. The support of the men and women who stand each day between citizens and those who wish to harm them is humbling,” said Hagenbuch.

“We are proud to support folks like Brent Hagenbuch who are willing to hold themselves out for public office. Brent Hagenbuch has served his country and his community. His father and grandfather were first responders and Brent honored them by accepting an appointment at the US Naval Academy and serving as a Naval officer. We are proud to stand with Brent,” said Mike Mata, President of the Dallas Police Association.

Hagenbuch Campaign Beats Back Litigious Opponent

DENTON TX – Brent Hagenbuch, conservative Republican candidate for Texas Senate District 30, the seat being left vacant by the announced retirement of Senator Drew Springer, released the following statement:

“Our political opponents will do and say anything to try to stop the incredible momentum our campaign is attracting – endorsements from Abbott, Patrick, Perry, five State Senators, major pro-life and pro-family organizations, and a host of local officials and Party leaders,” said Allen Blakemore, spokesman for the Hagenbuch campaign. “Brent Hagenbuch is a legal resident of Senate District 30.

“Our political opponents know they can’t win with the voters, so they threw a hail Mary pass at the courthouse in Denton County. Team Hagenbuch intercepted the ball and are back running down field, heading for a touchdown. Attempts to have Hagenbuch declared ineligible today fell short.

“The campaign has attracted incredible momentum in the past few weeks. Endorsements from Governor Abbott, Lt. Governor Patrick, former Governor Perry, five State Senators, major pro-life and pro-family organizations, business leaders, and a host of local officials and Party leaders know that Brent Hagenbuch is simply the best candidate to represent the people of SD30.

“The opposition knows they can’t win with the voters so they’re trying to win at the courthouse. The will of the voters cannot be subverted by a litigious candidate,” Blakemore concluded.
